8 more days. . . until you reach another milestone. 8 more days until i find myself letting go a little bit more. during our nightly routine tonight i remembered the night before i left you for the first time to go back to work when you were merely 4 months old. what mixed emotions i felt & sadness, lots of sadness. here we are again, another turning point, another time i must reach deep within & let go a bit. you are so excited for your first day of preschool & we're so excited for you! even though i've worked you've been in our home, so it was almost like i've been here the whole time. letting you out on your own will be so good for you, but so hard for me. you'll do great & you'll love it, cuz' that's who you are. i love you big girl & i know you'll shine!
