a great vacation . . .

you can tell you're having a really good time on vacation when your toddler is so exhausted at 6pm, that she can't keep her eyes open.  we are at seagrove/seaside, fl, having a blast with some dear friends.

Beach bound

So we are off to the beach for some much needed rest & relaxation. We are actually on the road as I type this. I am so thrilled to be getting away, that getting up at 3am wasn't so bad - except for carrying my half asleep baby girl out of the house at 4am in her pjs... It will soon be worth it for her once she has her toes in the sand later today. Cheers!

this pic is from my very first mother's day. . .  i'll never forget it.  being a new mom was both challenging & amazingly rewarding at the same time.  it's been 3 yrs & being your mommy has been the best thing that has happened to me.  you make my heart smile daily, even with the challenges you make me the happiest, proudest mommy in the world.  your kind & gentle heart makes my heart overflow with pride.  your amazing & i love you just the way you are. . .
