13 days 'til Christmas . . .

we're anxiously awaiting santa in the nitto household. isabella loves to say 'ho, ho, ho' & likes to touch the ornaments on her tree. surprisingly, not as much as i thought she would. it's so much fun having a 12 month old in the house at Christmas time.

Oh Christmas tree, oh Christmas tree. . .

we bundled isabella up today & headed off to pick out our Christmas tree. it was so chilly out our hands were frozen.

it just so happens that exactly today last year, we went to pick out our Christmas tree & isabella was merely 6 days old! maybe we'll make it a family tradition. it's neat to see how little she was & how much she's grown, in such a short time.

Our little Bella turns 1 . . .

isabella turned 1 year old this past sunday!! happy birthday sweet angel! your little giggles and sweet little hugs & kisses have brought more joy to our lives - you are such a blessing and we thank GOD for you every day. . .

1st Thanksgiving. . .

we enjoyed a tasty thanksgiving (as always) at grandma & grandpa nitto's. isabella loved her first turkey day!!!!

. . . & playing with her cousins, julia & emilie.

So thankful . . .

this year i have so much to be thankful for - a healthy, beautiful, sweet baby girl and a wonderful and amazing husband. . . i couldn't ask for anything more.

1 week left . . .

exactly 1 week from today until our baby girl's 1st birthday! when can i start crying?

during dinner last night, isabella thought it was just great that she managed to remove the pretty bow from her hair. . .

In the spirit. . .

i know it's not even thanksgiving and we've changed up the blog! isabella & i listened to some christmas music today and i just couldn't resist updating it early. can you blame me, it's freezing outside!!

isabella got her 1st christmas stocking this year. can't wait to hang it!

Only a moment in time. . .

she's only mine for a brief moment . . . soon she'll be running out the door.

Old friends & Landon turns 1. . .

it was just us girls for part of the week & weekend, as daddy was away in a wedding. we played, ran errands and went to an old friends first birthday party. katarina's (our first nanny) son landon, turned 1 this week. we were lucky to be included in his celebration. isabella had a blast chasing all the balloons around!

isabella & katarina - we were so curious to see if she remembered her (it's been 4 months). unfortunately, it took some warming up when we first arrived, but she took to her shortly after.
