somehow we made it over 3 yrs with no sick bugs on this little one. i can't say that i secretly didn't take pride in that accomplishment ;-) i knew it was coming, one day & eventually when she finally did start school & was around other children on a daily basis, this would change. not sure how she picked it up, but today my baby girl came down with her first stomach bug. luckily it started shortly after she woke up, so her tummy wasn't full. great for me, but unfortunately, she hasn't wanted to eat at all today, only fluids. we had so much planned for today, but all that changed & that's okay. we spent most of the day snuggling & wishing those sick bugs would just fly away.
