we have a little dancer in the house. she loves to dance and sing. i caught isabella just dancing away while watching her dance dvd this morning... she also loves to tap dance too ;-)
i had a late afternoon appointment that brought me home a little later than normal today. i called home to let jon know i was on my way & while on speaker phone, for the first time isabella yelled out 'MaMaaa' when she heard my voice. . . my heart melted!! i've been told how amazing this was & they were all right . . .
got a chance to bake this weekend & decided to try great grandma nitto's recipe for 'molasses sugar' cookies. she was sweet enough to share her recipe with me a couple years ago & i am just now getting around to trying it. oh, they are so delicious! this recipe will remain at the front of my recipe box for sure!
don't forget to tell them you love them today. . . eat as much of your favorite chocolate, or candy & enjoy!
happy valentine's day!

while daddy left today for a business trip, us girls ran a couple errands. during our trip to target, isabella insisted on trying on her own pair of sunglasses . . . she cracks me up!
today was a really good day. not a particularly special day, just a good day. isabella put up with all the errands I dragged her around to do. . . all with a smile, except for a protest in the checkout line at tj maxx. . . she even put up with me snapping pictures of her during her lunch. now if only you would stop trying to touch the garbage can in the kitchen. . . happy 14 months baby bella!
i've been yelled at for not posting in awhile. since the new year we've been busy getting things in order, trying to atleast. ;-) you know, all the new promises we try to make to ourselves to 'do better' this year. hmmm, i may not accomplish all of the ones that i have set for myself, i'll admit that now, but i'll get an A for effort. it's a good year so far and i continue to thank GOD for our gift. . .
