while holding one finger up to the sky & pointing bella states, out of the blue "i like ladybugs, i like caterpillars . . . . and . . . . i like monkeys"!

this afternoon, while walking in the mall, isabella said "mommy"?. . . and apparently i didn't respond quick enough because she pointed at my chest and said "that's you"! i just fell out laughing. . .

the holidays have come & gone - quickly, as usual. it was nice to be able to totally relax for over a week & a half!
my sister, brother-in-law & nephew came to spend new year's with us. we put the kids to bed early & had a yummy surf & turf dinner. we got to catch up & maxwell & isabella had a blast playing non stop. we're looking forward to getting down to fl soon to visit with them again. . .
