9 months . . .

it's hard to believe that 9 months ago today I gave birth to Isabella. where has the time gone?? it truly goes by in a blink of an eye. . . it's hard to believe that someone so small can bring so much joy. . .
tonight we were being goofy trying on our new hats for winter.

Week end update . . .

where do i start? Isabella's 2 bottom teeth are both out - yay! she's been sleeping sooooo much better! i finally broke her of waking for no reason between 12 & 2am. she's been consistently sleeping from 8-8:30pm to 5am, i nurse her then she's back asleep until 7:30 or so. she let me sleep in a little longer today, until 8:30am - "thanks sweet girl".

the nanny situation hasn't been so great. this was her 2nd week, and I've tried so hard to make it work with her, but mother's intuition just tells me it's not the perfect fit. not to mention, Isabella has been out of sorts and not totally on her schedule. we've been interviewing for the past 2 weeks and finally found someone we think will fit right in with our family and Isabella will really enjoy her. "welcome mona" can't wait for you to start!

Tub time. . .

we love tub time. we had such a good time last night splashing around! if she's anything like her mommy, she'll live in the bath. . .

here's the little stinker in action. . . this is what we saw on the internet camera yesterday afternoon, when she was suppose to be sleeping. . . it looks like bunny suffered the worst!

quick update on our little stinker. ; -) teething is for the birds! isabella is such a happy baby - she wakes up smiling and goes to bed smiling. teething has changed her sleeping habits a bit and she is practicing standing in her crib in the middle of the night. it's pretty funny, but not so funny at 2 am. regardless, she's still happy and has such an amazing personality. "please tooth
fairy, if you have anything to do with it, push those teeth out"!!

isabella loves to jump & dance. . . she thinks it's fantastic!

Little shopper . . .

isabella's in that really fun stage. everything is so new & exciting to her. i love watching how amazed she gets over the littlest thing. she loves going grocery shopping. since she can now sit in the cart, it's so much fun for her. she watches everybody walk by & smiles at them. here we are friday at publix while running errands.

Craziness at the Nitto household. . .

haven't had much time to post the past couple of weeks. my parents came to visit and to spend a lot of quality time with Isabella. "thanks for all of your help Mom & Dad"! we went out to dinner, to the pool, shopping (of course), jon & dad went golfing, and spent part of a day at duluth's town green. we had a great time and enjoyed your visit.

just before their visit, our nanny gave her notice, so we had to spend much of the time searching for a new one. thank goodness we finally made a decision and she starts this coming monday. we really think Isabella will enjoy her new nanny.
